How Dental Emergencies are managed at Welldent?
At welldent we have a staff member who actually takes a cell phone home so that you can get in touch with somebody from our team, even on a holiday. They contact the doctor and explain the situation so that we can get you the care that you need. Emergencies happen at the most inconvenient times. Especially toothache, which seems to happen when we least expect it. But you don’t have to worry! The experts at Welldent provide you with quality emergency dental care.
During an emergency; we assess your level of pain, how long you’ve been in pain and whether or not the pain is keeping you up at night. We try to determine the reason of discomfort; tooth pain can be due to many different things. It is not always that the pain will subside with an Endodontic treatment (a root canal) or extraction.
Once the root problem is diagnosed, we will initiate a primary treatment to relieve your pain and fix an appointment with the respective treatment specialist at Welldent.
Are all dental emergencies associated with pain?
Well it’s not true; sometimes there are dental emergencies which are not associated with pain. This can happen in case of Chipped a tooth, fractured filling, lost crown etc. These pain free conditions also fall in a dental emergency coz these happenings can start out pain free but then get to a painful level very quickly.
